Maho 26.9.0 is out, and unlike the releases before it — which mostly rebuilt things inside Maho — this one changes the first thing a shopper sees.
A new storefront
The front end is rebuilt on Tailwind CSS 4 and daisyUI 5, and ships with eleven
ready-made themes plus a live theme editor in the admin. The default identity is
called maho, an ink-first neutral palette with a deep blue for actions and a teal accent,
built from a small set of CSS custom properties.
Because the identity is expressed as runtime CSS variables, industry themes
(base/fashion, base/electronics, …) can override the palette from a plain theme.css
file — no build step required. The design keeps soft geometry and flat surfaces rather
than faux depth.
Upgrading
As with any Maho release, read the release notes for the exact migration steps for your installation. The storefront change is the headline; everything below it is the usual mix of fixes and backports that also flowed into the 26.7 line.
