What changes in MahoCommerce and what the team is working on: releases, merged pull requests, fixes and project decisions. Maho is a world in rapid evolution and there is a lot of news every week: that is why this section exists, for anyone who wants to stay current without reading every commit, with previews of the next releases to see what the team is working on.
Tailwind classes typed in the content now show on the storefront, the admin assistant reads the store guide before it answers and cart rules look at the right address: the roundup from 21 to 28 October.
Pull request #1611 is merged: Tailwind and DaisyUI work in CMS content, blog posts and product descriptions, and the code editor tells whether a class exists. What changes and what it needs.
A page builder, a configurable product gallery and a maintenance patch that changes the API: the Maho roundup from 16 to 23 October.
Thumbnails below, left or right, a grid of all images on desktop and a swipe carousel on phones: the gallery is now configured from the Design panel.
CMS pages, blocks and blog posts are now built from blocks, with the storefront preview beside the editor and widgets shown as a visitor sees them.
Pull request #1582 is merged: planner statistics on SQLite, parallel lanes on MySQL and PostgreSQL, writes that touch only what changed. A full reindex on the sample store drops from 5.2 to 0.95 seconds.
No new features in 26.9.2, but several backported fixes change what the REST API returns: prices per customer group, limited stock quantities and guest orders.
The weekly Maho roundup: address validation, exports, database encoding, payments and developer tooling.
Merged PR #1492 fixes MySQL error 1064 when a shopper's search ends with an operator, and finally applies the word limit and minimum word length to every search word, on every database.
Release 26.9.0 rebuilds the front end on Tailwind CSS 4 and daisyUI 5, with eleven ready-made themes and a live theme editor in the admin.
